ABEMA's original anime initiative, Project PRISMation, has officially greenlit a sequel for its pilot film, Poppin-Play Kitchen. The announcement was accompanied by a new visual and a message from the pilot's creator, Zemyata, a Thai artist known for his work on Eve's music video "Yoru wa Honoka."

Zemyata expressed his gratitude to fans for their support and excitement, promising to expand the "terrible, colorful, confetti-filled world" of the series. The pilot film, which debuted on January 16, has achieved over 2.2 million views on ABEMA. The series follows three hosts, P-chan, C-chan, and U-Chan, as they navigate a surreal cooking show with larger-than-life challenges.

In conjunction with the sequel news, Project PRISMation is launching its first public call for original short anime proposals. The initiative seeks projects with clear expansion plans, open to creators worldwide regardless of professional or amateur status. Selected proposals will receive production funding and comprehensive marketing support, embodying the project's goal to be a 'Prism' where diverse animation talents can 'shine brightly'.

Project PRISMation has previously released other pilot films, including "Gluttomy" by Vietnam's rapitus and "The Horrors' Horror Home" by Japan's Uguisu Kobo, Rushio Moriyama, and Yลซya Matsuzaki. Source: Press release
