The Arcanadea television anime, based on the popular bishōjo plastic model line from Kotobukiya, has officially locked in a January 2027 premiere. The production will air as part of the NUMAnimation programming block on TV Asahi and its 24 affiliated stations, with additional broadcasts slated for BS Asahi. A newly released teaser trailer offers a first look at the project's visual direction and character designs.

Keiichirō Kawaguchi, known for his work on Spy Classroom and Sket Dance, is directing the series at Yokohama Animation Lab. The production team also features series composition by Atsuhiro Tomioka, with character designs adapted by Kumoha Arakawa from the original illustrations by necömi. The musical score is being handled by the duo of Yūki Hayashi and Yūki Furuhashi.

The voice cast features several new additions, including Nobunaga Shimazaki as Shōgo Kuga, Konomi Inagaki as Kaho Asagi, and Mai Kanno as Rin Kirinoue. They join previously announced cast members Miho Okasaki as Velretta and Rina Hidaka as Yukumo. Kaede Hondo is also confirmed to return as the character Lumitea, a role she previously voiced for the franchise's YuruCanadea short manga videos.

Since its launch in December 2021, the Arcanadea franchise has expanded well beyond its initial plastic model kits, spawning ASMR audio dramas, four-panel manga, and significant commercial success with over 500,000 figures shipped as of mid-2025. The series blends sci-fi and fantasy elements, centering on a world transformed by the discovery of 'Arcana Particles' and the subsequent instability of a massive VRMMO server.
