The television anime adaptation of I Became a Legend After My 10 Year-Long Last Stand has been rescheduled for a July premiere, a delay from its originally planned April debut. The adjustment aims to ensure a more polished final product for viewers. Alongside the new premiere window, the production announced that the rock-idol girl group Meishohikokai will be providing the ending theme song, titled "Ari Kitari na Nichijō to Kōun na Hibi e."

The series follows Luck, a sorcerer who single-handedly holds off a demonic horde for ten years to allow his comrades to escape. Through a combination of skill and sheer luck, he survives and emerges victorious, only to find a decade has passed and he's now a legendary figure, despite appearing as a teenager. The anime stars Gakuto Kajiwara as Luck, with Toshiyuki Morikawa as Erik and Yui Ishikawa as Celliss Morton.

Directed by Hiroyuki Kanbe at Studio Gekkō, the anime features series scripts by Mitsutaka Hirota and character designs by Majiro. The production staff also includes Chief Animation Director Majiro, Color Key Artist Akira Nagasaka, and Art Director Bihou, Inc. The original web novel began serialization online in June 2018, with the first light novel volume releasing in February 2019. The manga adaptation, launched in August 2019, has contributed to the franchise's impressive circulation of over 4.45 million copies combined.
