I Became a Legend After My 10 Year-Long Last Stand (Koko wa Ore ni Makasete Saki ni Ike to Ittekara 10-nen ga Tattara Densetsu ni Natteita.) has added a new voice to its growing ensemble. The production staff confirmed that Naoto Kobayashi has joined the cast to portray Garuvu, a sacred wolf beast, following the character's surprise appearance in the show's sixth episode.

Directed by Hiroyuki Kanbe at Studio Gekkō, the series adapts the popular light novel by Ezogingitune and illustrator DeeCHA. The story follows the sorcerer Luck, who survives a decade-long solitary battle against demonic forces only to return as a legend trapped in a youthful body. With a total of 4.45 million copies of the source material in circulation, the anime has become a notable entry in the current fantasy landscape, featuring series composition by Mitsutaka Hirota and character designs by Majiro.

While the series faced a slight delay from its original April premiere window, it is now available for international viewers via Crunchyroll. The production features a robust cast including Gakuto Kajiwara as the protagonist Luck, alongside Yui Ishikawa and Toshiyuki Morikawa. The musical identity of the show is defined by the opening theme "Soredemo Donten o Koeteyuku" by sajou no hana and an ending theme from the idol group MEISHOHIKOKAI.
