The Sgt. Frog franchise has unveiled a series of official collaboration illustrations with Mobile Suit Gundam, ahead of the premiere of the latest Sgt. Frog film on June 26. These pieces mark the first official crossover art between the two franchises, despite Sgt. Frog's long history of parodying Gundam.

The collaboration features artwork drawn by both Sgt. Frog creator Mine Yoshizaki and Mobile Suit Gundam character designer Yoshikazu Yasuhiko. One illustration depicts Amuro and Char from Gundam alongside Keroro, while Yoshizaki's art pays homage to iconic posters from the original Gundam film trilogy.

In addition to the illustrations, two new plastic model kits have been announced: the Keroro Robo Mk-II Titans Color, available on June 26, and the 1/144 Real Grade RX-178 Gundam Mk-II Keroro ver., which will be sold through Premium Bandai's Hobby Online Shop.

A clip from the upcoming Sgt. Frog film has also been released, showcasing the MS-05 Zaku II Char Custom and RX-78-2 Gundam from the original Mobile Suit Gundam series. The Sgt. Frog manga debuted in 1999, leading to an anime series that ran from 2004 to 2011 and spawned five films. A new anime series is slated to premiere this fall.
