The production team for FX Senshi Kurumi-chan has announced a wave of new casting additions ahead of the series' October 2026 debut. Joining the voice cast are Asami Seto, known for her role in Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai, as Mochiko Kogane; Ayasa Itou of BanG Dream! fame as Mebuki Yamashi; and Miho Okasaki, recognized for That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, as Yasuko Takane.
In addition to the casting news, it was confirmed that Aina Suzuki will perform the ending theme song, titled "$・¥・€," in character as the lead, Kurumi Fukuga. The announcement was accompanied by a fresh key visual, further building anticipation for this adaptation of the psychological manga.
The project is currently in development at studio Passione. The creative team includes director Yuuki Ogawa, who previously helmed Mieruko-chan, working alongside screenwriter Kenta Ihara. Character designs are being handled by Kazuyuki Ueta, with musical composition provided by Takurou Iga.
Originally launched as a web comic by Demunyan in 2016, the series later moved to Comic Flapper in 2021 with illustrations by Daisuki Tansan. With the tenth volume of the manga slated for a September release, the anime aims to capture the high-stakes, stressful world of currency trading that has defined the source material's cult following.
