Shueisha has announced that Shibatsuki Bukken (Shiba Inu Rooms), a manga series by Esu Omori, will be adapted into a television anime scheduled for release in Summer 2027. The production is being handled by TMS Entertainment with Osamu Yamasaki serving as director and Rio providing character designs. The voice cast features Niina Nakabayashi as Koori Momose and Mutsumi Tamura as the spirit Muu. The series follows high school student Koori Momose, who discovers that her suspiciously affordable apartment comes with an earthbound shiba inu spirit as a roommate. The source material, which originated as a one-shot in July 2023 before beginning serialization on Shonen Jump+ in June 2024, is currently licensed in English by VIZ Media.
