TOHO Movies has released a new trailer for the upcoming live-action film adaptation of Shohei Manabe’s Sins of Kujo (Kujō no Taizai) manga. The trailer confirms that the band hitsujibungaku, who provided music for the preceding television series, will return to perform the film's theme song, "Dispel."
The film features the return of the core creative team from the live-action series, including director Nobuhiro Doi and screenwriter Nonji Nemoto. Cast members Yuuya Yagira and Hokuto Matsumura will reprise their respective roles as the lawyer Taiza Kujō and his associate Shinji Karasuma.
This film serves as a continuation of the live-action project based on Manabe's manga, which began serialization in Weekly Big Comic Spirits in 2020. The series follows Kujō, a lawyer known for representing clients involved in the criminal underworld, and explores the moral ambiguity of his legal practice. The previous live-action series adaptation premiered on Netflix on April 2.
