Tazza: The Song of Beelzebub is set to conclude the long-running crime franchise this September in South Korean theaters. Directed by Kook-hee Choi, the film adapts the final arc of Young-man Hurโ€™s celebrated manhwa series, shifting the focus to the high-stakes international poker circuit.

The story centers on Tae-young Jang, played by Yo-han Byun, whose successful online casino empire is dismantled by his former best friend, Tae-young Park (Jae-won Noh). The resulting narrative promises a bitter tale of betrayal and revenge, as the two rivals clash in a global gambling arena. The newly released trailer emphasizes this tension, featuring the ominous tagline, "The friend I trusted most became the cruelest hand."

Supporting the lead duo is Ayaka Miyoshi, known for her role in Alice in Borderland, who stars as Kaneko, a powerful figure representing a yakuza-backed corporation. The film also features Kyung-ho Yoon as a mentor figure encountered at a pivotal moment, and Woo-jin Cho as the legendary gambler Dong-wook Kwak, who provides the protagonist with the skills necessary to survive the high-stakes world.

This release marks the end of a cinematic legacy that began with the 2006 hit Tazza: The High Rollers. With previous entries like The Hidden Card and One Eyed Jack drawing millions of admissions, the franchise remains a pillar of Korean crime cinema. By focusing on the psychological depth and moral ambiguity that defined the earlier films, this finale aims to provide a definitive conclusion to the series' exploration of gambling culture.
