The fifth volume of My Darling Devilish Daughter (Boku no Manamusume) has confirmed that the series will reach its conclusion with the release of its sixth volume. The final installment is currently scheduled to ship in 2027.
This announcement follows a broader shift in the career of creator Sankaku Head, who previously revealed on his YouTube channel that he would be stepping away from the demands of weekly serialization. Citing health concerns and a desire to spend more time with his family, the artist plans to move toward a monthly release schedule for his future projects. The manga, which centers on a human father raising a half-demon daughter while navigating the pressures of his supernatural in-laws, has been serialized in Shogakukan's Weekly Big Comic Spirits since February 2024.
Sankaku Head is perhaps best known for his long-running hit Himouto! Umaru-chan, which spawned multiple spin-offs including Akita Imokko! Ebina-chan. While My Darling Devilish Daughter is nearing its end, the series remains available to English readers through Seven Seas Entertainment. Given the author's stated commitment to a more sustainable monthly workflow, it remains to be seen what project he will undertake once this current series concludes.
