Rhythm Heaven Groove has arrived at the top of the Japanese sales charts, moving 393,378 units during the week of June 29 to July 5. The title, published by Nintendo, secured a dominant lead over the rest of the market, effectively overshadowing the week's other major releases.

Konami’s Ganbare Goemon Daishūgō! also saw a strong entry, landing at second place on the Nintendo Switch with 60,428 copies sold, while its PlayStation 5 counterpart secured the sixth spot with an additional 8,773 units. Despite the influx of new software, evergreen titles continue to maintain a significant presence in the top 20 rankings.

Long-term heavy hitters remain staples of the chart, with Animal Crossing: New Horizons pushing its lifetime sales to over 8.45 million units. Similarly, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe continues to perform, holding steady with over 6.5 million copies sold since its 2017 release. Nintendo’s ecosystem remains the primary driver of physical game sales, accounting for the vast majority of the top-performing titles for the period.
