To celebrate the upcoming release of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the Nintendo Switch 2, Google has introduced an interactive Easter egg on its search engine. As reported by Anime News Network, users searching for "Zelda" or "Ocarina of Time" will see a Master Sword icon in the bottom right corner of the results page. Clicking this icon initiates an audio-visual sequence that transforms the search interface to mirror its 1998 aesthetic, the same year both the original game and Google launched. The display reverts to its modern appearance upon refreshing the page or clicking the icon a second time. The Switch 2 remake, which was first announced during a June Nintendo Direct, is scheduled for release on November 5.
