Warner Bros. Japan has officially announced a live-action feature film adaptation based on Hajime Koumoto's Mashle: Magic and Muscles manga. According to the report, the film is slated for a theatrical release in Japan on March 19, 2027. Production duties are being handled by Credeus, the studio previously responsible for the live-action adaptations of Kingdom and Golden Kamuy, with Warner Bros. Pictures and Fuji TV coordinating production and TOHO managing distribution. The original manga, which ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2020 to 2023, concluded with 18 volumes and a reported 12 million copies in circulation. This live-action project joins an expanding franchise that includes a television anime series produced by A-1 Pictures, which aired its first two seasons in 2023 and 2024, with a third season already scheduled for January 2027.
