The production team for The Apothecary Diaries: The Late Lady's Treasure recently debuted a trailer confirming that singer-songwriter Kenshi Yonezu performs the film's theme, 'Haru ga Tomori'. The story centers on Maomao and Jinshi as they transport the remains of a former imperial consort to her home province. According to the official announcement, 1.5 million copies of a commemorative booklet will be available to Japanese cinema patrons starting on opening day. This publication contains 'Kiro no Himawari,' an epilogue written by series creator Hyuganatsu, as well as production staff and cast interviews. Beyond the film, Hyuganatsu authored a separate novelization arriving December 9, which incorporates narrative details omitted from the screen adaptation. While Crunchyroll confirmed it has secured international licensing for the movie, the company has not yet set a release date for territories outside of Asia.
