REMOW has announced that the television anime adaptation of Renkinō's Monster Eater light novel series is now available for streaming in North America. The series can be found on Samsung TV Plus through the 'It's Anime' free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) channel. The first three episodes premiered on April 12.

The anime, which premiered in Japan on April 2, features Makoto Furukawa as the protagonist Rudd and Yuki Nakashima as Elyssia. The production is directed by Hikaru Sato at IMAGICA Infos and Imageworks Studio, with music composed by onoken and sound direction by Yūichi Imaizumi.

Monster Eater follows Rudd, a shunned adventurer nicknamed 'Grubby Forager' for his herb-gathering expeditions in dangerous monster-infested areas. His life takes a drastic turn when he's abandoned by a party and resorts to eating monsters to survive, a taboo act that grants him increasing power. The story originates from a web novel started in March 2023, with subsequent light novel and webtoon adaptations following.

The manga adaptation is published by Square Enix on their Manga UP! Global service, while the webtoon adaptation is available on LINE Manga. NEE performs the opening theme song, and niina handles the ending theme.
