Atlus has released a fresh series of character trailers for Persona 4 Revival, the upcoming remake of the classic 2008 RPG. The latest promotional videos spotlight key members of the Investigation Team, specifically Kanji Tatsumi, Yosuke Hanamura, Chie Satonaka, and Yukiko Amagi. These clips follow earlier reveals for the Protagonist and Rise Kujikawa, further showcasing the game's updated English voice cast, which includes Daman Mills taking on the role of Kanji.

Beyond the character updates, the project introduces a shift in visual presentation for the series. Atlus has confirmed that the animation studio MAPPA is handling all animated cutscenes for the remake. This collaboration brings a new visual direction to the title, distinct from the original release's aesthetic.

Following the successful release of Persona 3 Reload in 2024, the anticipation for this revival remains high. While the original Persona 4 and its expanded Persona 4 Golden iteration defined the series for many, this remake aims to bring the experience to modern hardware, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, with day-one availability on Xbox Game Pass. The game is currently available for pre-order ahead of its February 18, 2027, release date.

Why it matters: The involvement of MAPPA for the cutscenes suggests a major production investment, though it remains to be seen how the studio's distinct style will integrate with the game's iconic UI and social simulation elements.
