The 2012 mecha series Lagrange: The Flower of Rin-ne has arrived on Hulu, offering both English dub and subtitle options. The series follows Madoka Kyouno, an energetic high school student and the sole member of her school's Jersey Club, whose life takes a dramatic turn when she's recruited to pilot a resurrected robot, the Vox, to defend Earth from alien invaders.

Produced by Studio Xebec, known for its work on Space Battleship Yamato 2199 and To Love Ru, Lagrange blends high school slice-of-life elements with real robot combat. The premise centers on Madoka's passion for helping others, which extends to protecting her city from extraterrestrial threats.

While not a direct sequel to a prior anime, Lagrange: The Flower of Rin-ne did receive a follow-up OVA, Kamogawa Days, and several specials. The original 12-episode run is now available to stream in its entirety on Hulu.
