Nao Iori's Manaka the Human and the Slaughter Robot manga is set to conclude with its next chapter on April 21. The series, also known as Satsuriku Robo to Hito no Manaka, revealed its impending end in its seventh chapter published on Tuesday.
Launched on Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ platform in January 2026, the manga follows the story of Yui, a high school student living a rigidly controlled life, who encounters a fearless girl with a robotic half. The series is described as a tale of two girls: one who appears robotic, and another robot who seems remarkably human.
Prior to its serialization, a version of Manaka the Human and the Slaughter Robot won the Grand Prize in Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ Serialization Audition contest in 2022. The manga is also available in English through MANGA Plus.
