The supernatural comedy Midari ni Tsukasete wa Narimasen (Don't Get Recklessly Possessed) has officially wrapped up its run. The series concluded with its final chapter in the August issue of Kadokawa’s Monthly Dragon Age magazine, which hit shelves on July 9.
The story centers on Yasushi Sugahara, an unemployed man who finds himself in a bizarre predicament after crossing paths with a ghost that bears a striking resemblance to a college student working part-time at his family's shrine. Since its debut in November 2024, the manga has explored the comedic and eerie consequences of this spectral encounter.
Readers can expect the complete collection of the series to be finalized this autumn, with Kadokawa scheduled to ship the second and final compiled volume in September. This marks the end of a relatively short-lived project for Aguri Kurita, who is perhaps better known for the long-running series My Wife is a Little Intimidating (Boku no Oku-san wa Chotto Kowai), which has spanned 14 volumes and is currently available in English through Kodansha USA.
