The upcoming television anime adaptation of Yuukyuu no Gusha Asley no, Kenja no Susume (The Eternal Fool's Words of Wisdom: A Pawsitively Fantastic Adventure) has confirmed its primary production details, with a broadcast window locked for January 2027. A teaser promotional video released today highlights the series' fantasy roots, offering a first glimpse at the project.

Leading the voice cast are Toshiyuki Toyonaga, known for his work in Shiguang Dailiren, who will play the protagonist Asley, and Youko Hikasa, recognized for her role in Shaman King (2021), who is set to voice Pochi. The production is helmed by director Keisuke Oonishi, with series composition handled by Kurasumi Sunayama. The animation is being produced at Studio Elle, with character designs by Yumiko Mizuno.

This project adapts the original light novel series by Hifumi, which concluded its 14-volume run in 2019 after debuting on the Shousetsuka ni Narou platform. The franchise also features an ongoing manga adaptation by Fuu Araki, which has been serialized since 2017. English-speaking audiences can currently follow the manga via J-Novel Club, which has been releasing the volumes digitally since early 2024.
