Gakken has announced that its Yuruyuru Zukan (Gentle Picture Book) children's book series is being adapted into a television anime. The short-format series is slated to premiere in October as part of the Sunday program Animori! on TV Tokyo and its five affiliated channels.
The Yuruyuru Zukan books, which first launched in June 2017, are known for their charming illustrations and four-panel manga format. They present fascinating facts and trivia about a wide range of subjects, including real animals, extinct creatures like dinosaurs, and even mythical beings such as Bigfoot.
The anime adaptation aims to bring this educational and entertaining content to a new audience through the small screen.
