TV Tokyo has released a new teaser video for the upcoming anime adaptation of Yuruyuru Zukan, Gakken's long-running series of educational picture books. The footage confirms that Emi Nitta will provide the voice for Hato, the pigeon guide who leads viewers through the show’s various animal and creature-themed segments.

The production is being helmed by director Keizō Abe at IMAGICA Infos and Imageworks Studio. The sound department features director Taeko Miura and sound effects artist Yoko Sakurai, with a score composed by Yūta Tamura. Production supervision is credited to Kazuya Takahashi, with RD handling overall sound production.

Designed to make learning about animals, extinct species, and urban legends accessible through a mix of cute character designs and four-panel manga strips, the source material has been a staple since 2017. The anime will adopt a short-format structure and is slated to debut this October as part of the Sunday morning program Animori! across TV Tokyo and its five affiliated channels.
