The official website for Mission: Yozakura Family has unveiled five new cast members joining the second part of the series' second season. The expansion includes Houchuu Ootsuka as Alexandre, Miku Itou as Shura, Yumiri Hanamori as Cyber Demon King "G," Sumire Uesaka as Dr. Mozu, and Naomi Shindou as Koro. A new character-focused promotional video has also been released to highlight these additions.
Production remains anchored at studio SILVER LINK., with Takahiro Nakatsugawa returning to direct the second cour. Mirai Minato continues to oversee series composition, while Mizuki Takahashi remains in charge of character design. The series is set to resume its broadcast on October 11 at 5:00 p.m. on the MBS/TBS network, with subsequent airings on BS Nippon Television and AT-X scheduled for October 21.
This latest installment follows the conclusion of Hitsuji Gondaira’s original manga, which wrapped up its run in Weekly Shounen Jump earlier this year. With the source material now complete, the anime adaptation is moving through its final arcs. While the first season and subsequent parts have been available via Disney+ and Hulu, the transition into this second cour marks a pivotal point in the adaptation's schedule.
