The hit webtoon Your Letter is set to make the leap from the screen to the stage, with a musical adaptation scheduled to premiere at Seoul's Plus Theater. The production will run for over two months, starting September 16 and concluding on November 29. The creative team includes director and adaptor Sang-ah Pyo, working from a script by Soo-ah Kim, with the central role of Sori Lee being portrayed by a rotating cast of Hye-joo Jeon, A-jin Lee, and Dan-i Kim.

This theatrical debut follows the successful release of the Your Letter animated feature, which has garnered significant critical attention. Directed by Yong-Hwan Kim, the film earned three awards at the Bucheon International Animation Festival and secured selections at prestigious events in Ottawa and Poland. Fans in the U.S. and Canada can catch the film during its Crunchyroll Anime Nights engagement on August 17, while a Japanese-language version featuring Nako Yabuki and Kenshō Ono is slated for release on September 25.

Originally serialized until 2019, the webtoon by Hyeon A Cho is celebrated for its emotional depth, boasting a near-perfect 9.98 rating on the WEBTOON platform. The story follows Sori, a principled middle school student who, after transferring to escape bullying, discovers a series of mysterious letters that lead her on a transformative scavenger hunt. The series continues to gain international momentum, having been published as a single-volume print edition by Ize Press in 2024 and currently holding a nomination for a Harvey Award.
