The fantasy manga The Kingdoms of Ruin (Hametsu no Ōkoku) by yoruhashi has officially concluded its run. Mag Garden announced the news via its Mag Comi website, which published the manga's final chapter in advance on Tuesday. The series' 15th and final compiled volume is slated for release on July 9, with the final chapter becoming free to read on the Mag Comi website on July 14.
Launched in Monthly Comic Garden in April 2019, The Kingdoms of Ruin follows Adonis, a wizard seeking revenge against the Redia Empire that exterminated witches who once aided humanity with magic. The narrative explores a conflict between magic and science, with Seven Seas publishing the series in English. The manga resumed serialization for its second part in November of last year.
An anime adaptation of the dark fantasy series premiered in Fall 2023, with Crunchyroll streaming the 12-episode run and providing an English dub. The anime adaptation, which concluded its broadcast, covered the events leading up to the manga's conclusion.
