The upcoming second cour of Yoroi-Shinden Samurai Troopers is set to debut on July 7, with a new promotional video revealing additional cast members and theme song artists. The video showcases the latest additions to the voice cast, including Tomoaki Maeno as Gomei, Aya Endō as Shimei, and Hiroshi Shirokuma as Gaimei. Maaya Sakamoto and Takehito Koyasu are also confirmed to reprise roles as Yashimanosagume and Inmei, respectively.

New music for the sequel anime will feature Dannie May performing the opening theme "Bad Idenshi," while karanoah will sing the ending theme "Bakemon." The series' first opening "YOAKE" is performed by rock band blank paper, and the first ending "POWER" by boy group ONE OR EIGHT.

Directed by Yōichi Fujita at Sunrise, Yoroi-Shinden Samurai Troopers continues the story of five boys who don samurai armor to battle a demon emperor in modern-day Shinjuku. The original Yoroiden Samurai Troopers series, known internationally as Ronin Warriors, aired in 1988-1989. The original anime is available for streaming on Crunchyroll.
