During their industry panel at Anime NYC this past Saturday, Yen Press unveiled a fresh wave of nine upcoming titles. The announcement covers a broad spectrum of genres, split between two light novel series and seven manga volumes, though the publisher has yet to confirm specific release windows for these additions.
Among the highlights is the light novel series The Witch's Conviction, The Beast's Redemption by Yuki Sakai and illustrator Ao Nekonabe. The story follows Leonardo Nix, an alchemist trapped in a maximum-security prison for the taboo act of consuming his comrades. After undergoing a monstrous transformation, he escapes into a world that fears him, eventually forming a desperate pact with a witch named Elena to break his curse—at the cost of committing further violence as her familiar.
Beyond this dark fantasy entry, the company confirmed it will be bringing Übel Blatt II and The Gray Exorcist to its catalog. The expansion also includes the romance title Seal My Lips With a Kiss, rounding out a diverse list intended to cater to both veteran collectors and new readers. While fans await further details on release schedules, these acquisitions signal a continued push by Yen Press to diversify its North American offerings with both high-stakes fantasy and character-driven drama.
