Yen Press has revealed plans to publish a slate of new manga and novel titles, with eight manga series, six novel series, and one box set scheduled for release in December 2026. This acquisition broadens the company's offerings for English-speaking fans.
Among the licensed works is Witches Can't Be Collared, a manga by Makuei, based on an original story by Yuri Yumemi with character designs by Wata. The series is set in the Las Lilte Empire, where a Magic Crimes Bureau detective named Rogue must team up with the notorious witch Miseria to solve a case involving a dangerous artifact known as the Lifetaker.
Other notable acquisitions include Alma-chan Wants to Be a Family!, Yamada's Class Diary, and several other series yet to be detailed. The full list of licenses will be available in December 2026, adding to Yen Press's extensive catalog of translated Japanese literature. Source: Anime News Network
