Yen Press revealed its latest licensing acquisitions during a panel at Anime North, adding seven manga and two novel series to its upcoming release slate. These new titles are slated to debut in December 2026, with further releases planned for winter 2027.
Among the licensed works is the novel series Wistoria: Wand and Sword, penned by Fujino ÅŒmori with illustrations by YÅ«nagi. This series acts as a prequel to a popular manga, following protagonists Will and Elfaria as they enroll at Regarden Magical Academy. While Elfaria quickly rises through the ranks of magical society, Will grapples with self-doubt until he discovers a unique path wielding a sword in a world dominated by magic wands.
Additionally, Yen Press has secured the rights to the Honey Lemon Soda novels, further expanding its offerings in the young adult and romance genres. Specific titles for the seven manga series were not detailed in the announcement, but their release will be staggered throughout the winter 2027 season.
