Creator Yayū Murata has announced a Kickstarter campaign to fund the English release of the second volume of his manga series Across the Strange Edge (Okashiki Sekai no Kyōkaisen). The campaign, which runs from November 19 to December 17, aims to raise €7,000. In addition to the second volume, the project offers a deluxe hardcover omnibus collecting the first two volumes, featuring a collaborative cover design by Takashi Kumatani. According to the announcement, two additional deluxe volumes are planned for the future. If the campaign reaches its goal, physical and digital rewards are slated for release in May 2027. This follows a successful April campaign for the first volume, which raised €8,774. The series, which follows the developing bond between two girls, Misuzu and Chizuru, originally serialized on Shogakukan's Manga ONE platform starting in 2020 and concluded with its fifth volume in August 2021.
