The production team for A Wild Last Boss Appeared! (Yasei no Last Boss ga Arawareta!) has released a second promotional video ahead of the show's upcoming return. The trailer offers a first listen to the ending theme song, "Yurete Skirt," performed by the girls band chakura, while confirming an October 3 premiere date across Tokyo MX, BS Asahi, and Kansai TV.
Alongside the video, the series announced three new additions to the voice cast. Atsushi Miyauchi joins the production as Sagittarius, while Akio Ootsuka will voice Leon, and Shuuhei Sakaguchi takes on the role of Mercurius. These actors join a returning core staff at studio WAO World, including director Yuuya Horiuchi and series composer Kazuyuki Fudeyasu, who are tasked with continuing the adaptation of Firehead’s completed light novel series.
While the anime's first season established the foundation for this action fantasy, the source material concluded its run in 2019. With the light novel and manga adaptation both available in English via J-Novel Club, viewers have a clear path to explore the series' origins. Given the shift in narrative focus often seen in second seasons, it remains to be seen how closely this new arc will adhere to the final volumes of the original print run.
