A television anime adaptation is in the works for Juntarō Aoki and Shin Moriyama's Nabe ni Dangan wo Ukenagara manga, with a planned 2027 release. The announcement, made via the series' official X account, also revealed a teaser visual for the upcoming show. J.C. Staff has been tapped to animate the project.

The Nabe ni Dangan wo Ukenagara manga, also known as Nabetama, chronicles the adventures of Juntarō, a protagonist who travels to perilous global locations in pursuit of exotic local cuisine. The stated goal of Juntarō's culinary expeditions is to accumulate 50,000 points of deliciousness.

Launched in 2021 on Kadokawa's Comic Newtype platform, the manga has seen consistent releases, with its fifth compiled volume arriving in October 2024. Its critical reception includes a spot in the top 20 manga for male readers in the 2023 edition of Takarajimasha's Kono Manga ga Sugoi! guidebook.
