Within the Villainess anime has revealed Ayane Sakura as the voice of Star Maiden Pina Blanche. The announcement arrived alongside a new promotional video focusing on the heroine and an updated teaser visual. Pina Blanche is the destined heroine within the in-story otome game, but she also harbors the soul of another reincarnated individual pursuing her own agenda.
The story follows Emi, an otome game enthusiast who dies and reincarnates as Remilia, the villainess of a game she loved. Determined to give Remilia a better fate, Emi works to avert the plot's negative outcomes. Her efforts are complicated when she discovers the Star Maiden, the game's heroine, is also a reincarnated person with her own goals, leading to Remilia's downfall and Emi's fading consciousness.
Previously announced cast members include Miyuki Sawashiro as Remilia Rose Graupner and Rie Takahashi as Emi. The anime is directed by Yoshihisa Iida at ROLL2, with series scripts written and overseen by Hiroyuki Yoshino. Character designs are by Reiko Nagasawa, and music is by Shūji Katayama. Infinite is producing the series, which is set to premiere in 2027. The light novel series has 4 million copies in circulation across its publications.
