The second season of With Vengeance, Sincerely, Your Broken Saintess has released a new promotional teaser, offering a glimpse at the next chapter of Rua’s transformation from a discarded saintess into a calculated villainess. The series, which utilizes a "light anime" production style to emphasize its webtoon origins, is set to return to Japanese airwaves on October 1, starting with a broadcast on TV Kanagawa.
Behind the scenes, the project sees a change in leadership. Saya Fukase, known for I Want You To Show Me Your Panties With a Disgusted Face Returns, takes over as director, stepping in for the first season's Chisaki. Despite the change in direction, the production retains core staff members, including sound director Yūichi Imaizumi and composer onoken, ensuring stylistic continuity for the fantasy-revenge drama.
The voice cast remains largely intact, with Asami Seto returning as the betrayed protagonist Rua, alongside Sōma Saitō as Commander Garrett and Momo Asakura as the duplicitous Arianne. The series continues to adapt the popular webtoon, which explores the dark side of royal saintess culture and the fallout of Rua's discovery that her healing powers were being exploited by those she trusted most.
While the original webtoon concluded its main narrative in June 2025, the anime adaptation continues to push forward with its 12-episode format. Viewers can expect the series to maintain its focus on the high-stakes political intrigue and personal vendettas that defined the first season, as Rua navigates her new life under the protection of the second prince.
