The production team behind With Vengeance, Sincerely, Your Broken Saintess has released a third teaser video for the series' second season. The new footage offers a preview of the upcoming theme song, "Kareinaru Revenger," performed by the idol group Juice=Juice. The series is scheduled to begin its broadcast run on October 1 via TV Kanagawa, followed by a debut on CBC TV on October 2.
This season marks a shift in leadership, with Saya Fukase stepping into the director's chair at IMAGICA Infos and Imageworks Studio, replacing the first season's director, Chisaki. Despite the change in direction, the core voice cast remains intact, featuring Asami Seto as Rua and Sōma Saitō as Sven, alongside Momo Asakura, Kazuki Ura, and Kazuyuki Okitsu. The production also retains key staff members from the inaugural season, including sound director Yūichi Imaizumi and composer onoken.
Developed under the "light anime" initiative by DNP, the series aims to streamline production timelines compared to traditional industry workflows. The original webtoon, which concluded its main story in June 2025, follows the journey of Rua, a saintess candidate who pivots toward a life of vengeance after being betrayed by her closest companion. With the source material currently on an indefinite hiatus following the conclusion of its side stories, this second season serves as the primary continuation of the narrative for viewers.
