Warner Bros. Animation and WEBTOON have announced four new animated projects as part of their ongoing collaboration to adapt popular webcomic intellectual properties. The expanded partnership, revealed during a panel at Web Summit Vancouver 2026, aims to bring these digital comics to audiences worldwide.
The latest additions to the slate are The Wolf & Red Riding Hood by XUANN, Vampire Family by unfins, Sable Curse by Little Melon, and Snow and Briar by M. Nires. These series will join previously revealed adaptations such as Down to Earth and Hardcore Leveling Warrior, which were part of an initial announcement in 2025.
That initial agreement stipulated that a total of 10 WEBTOON titles would be developed into animated series for worldwide distribution. The newly announced projects cover a range of genres. The Wolf & Red Riding Hood follows a high school student dealing with lycanthropy, while Vampire Family centers on a vampire trying to navigate human friendships. Sable Curse tells the story of a young woman seeking to break a deadly curse, and Snow and Briar explores the intriguing marriage of a prince and a towering princess.
This continued collaboration highlights a growing trend in the entertainment industry of adapting successful webtoon content into animated formats, tapping into established fanbases for genres including romance, fantasy, action, and comedy.
