Ghost Studio has confirmed the lead cast for the upcoming live-action adaptation of White Scandal, a popular webtoon and web novel series. The project will feature Kang Song and So-hyun Kim, marking their first onscreen collaboration since their work on the 2021 Netflix hit Love Alarm.

In the series, Kang Song takes on the role of Yi-hyeok Dan, a third-generation conglomerate heir and high-profile actor attempting to break free from his family's rigid inheritance expectations. So-hyun Kim portrays Eunseol Ji, a former child star who has transitioned into a career as a manager after a scandal derailed her acting path. The plot centers on the pair entering a strategic, fake relationship to suit their personal agendas, only to find themselves forced to confront a traumatic shared past involving an attempted murder accusation from fifteen years prior.

The original source material, written by Chae Ah Moon and 1HO with art by DENZZI and GETMEAN, concluded its serialization earlier this year in April. English-speaking audiences may recognize the title from its run on Tapas, which began in 2025. With the main cast now secured, Ghost Studio is preparing to move into the filming phase for the production.
