The popular webtoon adaptation Moving is officially moving forward with its second season. Production commenced this week, accompanied by the release of a video showcasing the cast during a script reading session. The series, which debuted in 2023, quickly became a standout hit, topping viewership charts across Asia-Pacific on Disney+ and becoming the most-watched Korean original on Hulu in the U.S. during its premiere week.
Season 2 will continue the narrative of individuals with extraordinary abilities who are trying to live normal lives following the "Jungwon High School incident," only to find themselves facing new dangers. Kang-full, the original creator of the webtoon, is back on board to pen the script, ensuring continuity with the source material and the first season's storyline.
The production sees the return of a significant portion of the original cast, including Seung-ryong Ryu, Hyo-joo Han, In-sung Cho, and Tae-hyun Cha, among many others. The ensemble is further bolstered by new additions such as Gyu-bin Won, Kyung-gu Sol, and Hee-jun Lee, promising to expand the series' character dynamics and narrative scope.
While a release date for Moving Season 2 remains unconfirmed, the first season, based on Kang-full's webtoon, is available for streaming on Disney+ and Hulu. The series chronicles students with hidden superpowers and their parents who harbor past secrets, as they confront generational threats. Source: TV Report (Hae-in Kang)
