The upcoming feature film Wareware wa Uchuujin (We Are Aliens) has unveiled its main trailer, offering a first look at the project's animation and previewing the theme song, "Sasakure," performed by the artist adieu. Alongside the trailer, the production team confirmed a September 25 release date for Japanese theaters.

Two new cast members have joined the ensemble: Kemuri Matsui will voice the character Batahara, and Ten Yamasaki will provide the voice for Konatsu. These additions round out a production team led by director and screenwriter Kouhei Kadowaki, known for his work on the second season of Beastars, with music composition handled by Yaffle.

The film, produced by the studio Nothing New, has garnered significant grassroots support. A crowdfunding campaign launched on Motion Gallery last November set an initial goal of 8 million yen, which has since been surpassed, with total contributions now exceeding 9 million yen. The newly released trailer serves as a centerpiece for the project's final push toward its autumn premiere.
