Viz Media has secured the English print rights for a slate of new manga and novels, with most scheduled to launch in Spring 2027 and one planned for Fall 2027. Among the newly licensed titles is Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, also known as Jujutsu Kaisen ≡. This new series, penned by Gege Akutami with art by Yuji Iwasaki, takes place 68 years after the events of the Culling Game. It follows siblings Yuka and Tsurugi Okkotsu as they become embroiled in an interstellar war following an alien invasion of Earth.
In addition to the new Jujutsu Kaisen spin-off, Viz Media will also bring Detective Conan and a Slam Dunk Deluxe Edition to English-speaking markets. The publisher also announced plans to release Junji Ito: Dissection, a collection of essays and insights into the acclaimed horror manga artist's work. Further details on the full lineup and specific release dates within the 2027 window are expected.
These upcoming releases signal Viz Media's continued commitment to expanding its print catalog with popular franchises and significant new entries within the manga landscape. Fans can anticipate these additions to become available through standard book retailers and comic shops in the coming years.
