During the Yuzusoft SongFes 2026 event on Sunday, the studio confirmed that its hit romance visual novel Senren*Banka will receive an anime adaptation in 2027. The announcement also highlighted that veteran artist KOTOKO, recognized for her contributions to Shakugan no Shana, will perform the series' opening theme song.

The production team shared the initial voice cast list, which includes Haruka Sora as Yoshino Tomotake, Kotorii Yuuka as Mako Hitachi, Satou Mikan as Murasame, and Sawasawa Sawa as Liechtenauer Lena. The story centers on Arichi Masaomi, an outsider who finds himself in the isolated village of Hoori. After accidentally shattering the legendary blade Murasamemaru, Masaomi is thrust into a bizarre new reality that involves an arranged marriage to a shrine maiden and an investigation into a long-standing local curse.

Since its 2016 debut on Windows, the title has become a flagship success for Yuzusoft, reaching over 1 million units sold worldwide as of February 2026. Following its initial release, the story was adapted into a two-volume manga series by Erika Kiduki, which ran from 2016 to 2017. The visual novel later expanded its reach through a 2020 Steam release and a 2022 port for the Nintendo Switch.
