Vertex Force, an original television anime project, has officially confirmed its primary voice cast and released its first promotional video. The series follows the lives of siblings Akira and Haruka Toudou, whose quiet existence in Okinawa is shattered by the emergence of a mysterious power known as "Engine" and the arrival of an unknown global threat.
The production features a seasoned creative team, with Kazuhiro Takamura taking on the dual roles of director and character designer. He is joined by assistant director Gorou Kuji, while Masashi Suzuki oversees series composition. The project's score is being handled by Nobuaki Nobusawa, known for his work on Steins;Gate 0.
Leading the voice cast is Kaede Hondo as the power-wielding Haruka Toudou, alongside Makoto Koichi as her brother, Akira. They are joined by a supporting cast including Ami Koshimizu as Eleanor Northbrook, Megumi Han as Lara Zudenstein, and Rie Takahashi as Youko Nishina. The newly unveiled trailer provides a first look at the series' high-stakes conflict, which forces the siblings to reconcile their personal insecurities to protect the fate of the universe.
Viewers can catch the premiere on October 3 at 11:30 p.m. across Tokyo MX, BS11, Gunma TV, and Tochigi TV.
