The original mecha series Vertex Force is officially scheduled to premiere on October 3, with broadcasts set for Tokyo MX, BS11, Gunma TV, and Tochigi TV. Alongside the date reveal, a new promotional video highlights the show's blend of action and character drama, offering a glimpse at the series' core conflict involving a hidden power known as the "Engine."

The series follows Akira Todo, a young man struggling with an inferiority complex after failing to inherit his father's "Engine" power, unlike his older sister, Haruka. Their quiet life running a family cafe is upended as strange, unexplained events begin to plague the world. The newly released footage showcases the high-octane mechanical aesthetic expected from a project helmed by director Kazuhiro Takamura, who is also handling character design.

Production is being handled by studio SMDE, with Gorō Kuji serving as assistant director. The creative team boasts significant pedigree in the genre, featuring mechanical designs by Kanetake Ebikawa, known for his work on Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury, and JNTHED. The musical score is being composed by Nobuaki Nobusawa, while Masahito Onoda serves as chief animation director.

The main voice cast includes Makoto Koichi as Akira, Kaede Hondo as Haruka, Ami Koshimizu as Eleanor Northbrook, Megumi Han as Lala Zudenstein, and Rie Takahashi as Yoko Nishina. Following its television debut, the series is set to stream on U-NEXT and additional platforms in Japan.
