The Osake ni Yowai Andō-san (The Alcohol-Lightweight Andō-san) manga is set to receive an anime adaptation. The news was confirmed by the official X account for the Continuer boys-love label, which houses Umiko Seto’s series. While specific production details remain under wraps, the project will be produced under the AnimeFesta banner.
The series follows the professional and private life of Andō, a systems engineer known for his rigid, serious demeanor at the office. His colleague, Kikuchi, has spent a year attempting to break through Andō’s stoic exterior. The dynamic shifts when Kikuchi discovers that Andō is a lightweight; under the influence of alcohol, the engineer sheds his professional mask to reveal a clumsy, cheerful, and unexpectedly seductive personality.
Seto launched the manga on the ComicFesta web platform in October 2024. The series has quickly gained traction, with Suiseisha handling the print releases. Following the debut volume released in late 2025, the second volume is scheduled for publication on September 18.
As part of the established AnimeFesta programming block, the adaptation will likely follow the studio's standard distribution model. Most titles under this banner produce two distinct versions: a censored broadcast edit for television and a premium, uncensored version for digital platforms. These series are frequently distributed internationally through the Coolmic and OceanVeil services.
