The crossover manga Ultraman: Along Came a Spider-Man is set to conclude with its fifth collected volume. Artist Tomo Hirokawa confirmed the news on X, formerly Twitter, stating that the upcoming chapter will initiate the final volume of the series.
This collaboration brings together Tsuburaya Productions' iconic giant hero Ultraman with Marvel's web-slinging superhero, Spider-Man. The story sees Spider-Man and the Avengers facing Doctor Doom on Marvel Earth, only for both Spider-Man and Doom to be transported to the world of Ultraman via an Interdimensional Train. There, Doom allies with Alien Mefilas and Kaiju from the Monster Graveyard to steal Ultraman's power.
Ultraman: Along Came a Spider-Man began its serialization in August 2024, with new chapters released weekly on the Viz Manga app. Viz Media also published the first print volume in July 2025. This manga follows another recent Ultraman and Marvel collaboration, the four-issue comic mini-series Ultraman x Avengers, which also launched in August 2024.
