The second promotional video for the Uchi no Otōto-domo ga Sumimasen anime has arrived, showcasing the series' opening and ending theme songs. DISH// will perform the energetic opening track "Aikotoba," while Reira Ushio lends her voice to the ending theme "Clover." The video also introduces two new additions to the cast: Daisuke Ono as Isao Narita, the brothers' father, and Aya Endō as Saho Narita, their mother.
The anime adaptation of Akira Ozaki's manga is set to premiere on July 3rd, airing on Tokyo MX, Gunma TV, Tochigi TV, and BS11 starting at 24:00 JST. It's planned for a two-cour run, totaling 24 episodes. Previously announced cast members include Naomi Ōzora as Ito Narita, Toshiki Masuda as Gen Narita, Taku Yashiro as Raku Narita, Kenshō Ono as Syu Narita, and Momoka Terasawa as Rui Narita.
Directed by Hitoshi Nanba at Studio Lay-duce, the series boasts a strong creative team. Megumi Shimizu is handling series composition, with character designs by Shiori Hiraiwa and Yōko Fukushima. Music composition is by Gin of Busted Rose. The story follows high school student Ito Hazui, who after her mother's remarriage, moves in with her new family and finds herself with four younger step-brothers, navigating the complexities of her new relationships.
