The production of a third season for Tsue to Tsurugi no Wistoria (also known as Wistoria: Wand and Sword) has been confirmed. The announcement came immediately after the conclusion of the 12th and final episode of the anime's second season. Alongside the production confirmation, the official website released a special promotional video and a celebratory visual.
The action fantasy series, adapted from the manga by Fujino Omori and Toshi Aoi, is animated by Actas and Bandai Namco Pictures. The first season premiered in Summer 2024, with the second season debuting on April 12. Both seasons have been available for international audiences via Crunchyroll, which provided subtitled and dubbed versions.
The Tsue to Tsurugi no Wistoria manga began its run in Bessatsu Shounen Magazine in December 2020. Kodansha USA has licensed the manga for English release. A prequel light novel series, Wistoria's Wand and Sword Grimo Acta: Hajimari no Namida, also penned by Omori, launched in July 2024, with Yen Press handling its English license.
