Kadokawa has unveiled the second promotional video for the upcoming second season of Trapped in a Dating Sim. The new video showcases the anime's opening theme, "Jinsei Endroll" (Life's Ending Credits), performed by the music unit Ando, and the ending theme, "Ashita wa Ashita no Que Sera Sera" (Tomorrow is Tomorrow's Que Sera Sera), by the girl band MEISHOHIKOKAI.

The second season of the anime adaptation of Yomu Mishima's light novel series is set to premiere on July 8. It will air on AT-X at 11:30 p.m. JST, followed by streaming on ABEMA and d Anime Store at 12:30 a.m. JST on July 9. Tokyo MX and BS NTV will also broadcast the series.

Returning to direct is Kazuya Miura at ENGI, with Kenta Ihara returning as series script supervisor and Masahiko Suzuki handling character designs and chief animation direction. Tetsuya Watanabe joins as CG director, and Shin'ichi Komeya takes over as compositing director of photography. The returning cast includes Takeo ลŒtsuka as Leon, Kana Ichinose as Olivia, and Fairouz Ai as Angelica. Yui Ogura is a new addition to the cast, voicing Hertrauda Sera Fanoss.

The Trapped in a Dating Sim series follows Leon, an office worker reincarnated into a punishing dating sim where women hold power. Utilizing his knowledge from a past life playing the game, he seeks a quiet life in the countryside. The first season premiered in April 2022 and was streamed by Crunchyroll. The original light novel series concluded in March 2024, and a manga adaptation is ongoing, with a new arc and creative team having launched in August 2023. A spinoff novel and its manga adaptation are also in publication.
