Nihon Falcom and GungHo Online Entertainment have unveiled a fresh English-language trailer for the upcoming The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter remake. The footage offers a glimpse into the next stage of Estelle Bright’s journey as she tracks down Joshua and navigates the escalating political turmoil threatening the Liberl Kingdom and the continent of Zemuria.
Set to arrive on September 17 for PlayStation 5, Switch, Switch 2, and PC via Steam, the remake arrives exactly one year after the release of the 1st Chapter remake. The updated release boasts significant accessibility, featuring both English and Japanese voice tracks across all platforms. Text support is equally robust, with English, German, French, and Spanish options available for console players, and the addition of Japanese text for PC users.
The English dub features a notable roster of voice talent, including Cassandra Lee Morris as Anelace Elfead, Ray Chase as Kevin Graham, Patrick Seitz as Mueller Vander, and Liam O'Brien reprising his role as Georg Weissmann. Additional cast members include Gabriella Certo as Julia Schwarz, Stephen Fu as Leonhardt, and Courtney Lin as Renne.
This project serves as a modern overhaul of the classic 2006 title, which originally saw a localized release by XSEED Games on the PSP in 2015. With the Trails franchise continuing to expand—most recently with the 2025 Western release of Trails Through Daybreak II—this remake provides a definitive way for both veterans and newcomers to experience the foundational story of the Ouroboros conflict.
