Nihon Falcom and GungHo Online Entertainment announced that The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC remake will launch on September 17 for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, and PC via Steam. A new trailer, released today, confirms the release date and offers a glimpse at the story.

The remake continues Estelle's journey as she searches for Joshua and faces the Enforcers of Ouroboros. The game's narrative expands beyond the Liberl Kingdom, delving into continental implications, ancient mysteries, and the truth behind Joshua's past, with the fate of a legendary artifact hanging in the balance.

Trails in the Sky SC will feature both English and Japanese voice acting across all platforms. Text language options will include English, German, French, and Spanish on consoles, with PC via Steam also supporting these languages. This remake follows the simultaneous worldwide release of The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky FC remake in September 2025.

The original The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC first released in Japan for PC in 2006, later receiving ports on PSP and PS3. XSEED Games brought the English version to PSP in October 2015. The original The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky debuted in 2004, eventually receiving multiple ports and inspiring a 2011 anime adaptation.
